This grapefruit mimosa is so delicious and easy to make! Your guests will be so impressed when you serve this beautiful cocktail.

The best part of this recipe is that you can customize it any way you like, simply use this idea for inspiration! Don't like grapefruit juice? Use orange juice instead! You can also any fruit you prefer, I opted for maraschino cherries and blueberries.

The juice ice cubes keep the mimosa cold for a long time, making it the perfect cocktail for entertaining! Make plenty of ice cubes, and just keep them in the freezer until it's time to serve.

Check the recipe below with a short video!

Easy step-by-step instructions

  1. Juice about 2 grapefruits or until you have 1 cup of juice, strain and set aside.

  2. Add the fruit and the mint leaves to an ice cube tray.

  3. Pour the juice into the tray to make at least 12 cubes and freeze until solid.

  4. Add 3 juice ice cubes into each champagne flute, pour the sparkling wine and serve immediately. Enjoy!

A few tips

  • I prefer to use fresh juices in mimosas, feel free to use bottled juice instead. I used this awesome little juicer I found on Amazon that works great for any citrus fruit and is so cheap!

  • I bought my gorgeous stemless champagne flutes last year at ALDI. I found similar flutes on Amazon.

  • You can use prosecco, champagne, or sparkling wine for mimosas.

  • I like my mimosas a little heavy on the alcohol, if you like them a little lighter make more juice ice cubes.

  • Use any fruit you like or have on hand to add to the juice cubes like berries, maraschino cherries, mangoes, kiwis, etc.

  • Feel free to skip the mint if you’re not a fan, I added it for color and because it looks so beautiful and festive.
